Abstract

Beneficial insect fauna is the beauty of the applied entomology that is being disturbed with the variable agro-ecosystem and climate unbalancing with human entrance as blind chemical pest management. Honey bees among beneficial forces are the superb pollinators that can enhance the yield of a crop up to fifty percent as even cross pollinated crops depends on this insect. Multiple factors are responsible to lessen down its population even ground to become a part of extinct species. Fuel odor, volatile chemicals or by products like nitric oxide and nitrogen dioxide, or NOx gases are not only lethal to bees body as well as interrupt their foraging. Memory impairment, disorientation, behavioral dilemma and somatic abnormalities observed when bees were forage on neonicotinoids unhygienic flora and acute toxic chemicals up to 7,000 times more than DDT. Predators and parasites like bees, ants, mites and beetles threatening bees especially Acarapis woodi is a serious pest reported from 20th Century. So there is need to protect these natural pollinators by using eco- friendly agricultural practices to harvest their products.
